 How do I become a Subscriber and how much does it cost?

The Daily Press and Desert Dispatch will offer two types of subscriptions:  Print + eEdition and eEdition Only.

All current newspaper subscribers will have eEdition access available as part of their subscription.

Like most businesses today, we want to learn more about our customers to continue to provide them with quality products and services. Our registration process helps us understand who is using our digital news sites and how.

If you already have a subscription to one of these papers, please contact customer service at circulation@vvdailypress.com or call 1-800-553-2006 and a Customer Service representative will help you add a second subscription to your account.

 What is my user name?

Your user name is your e-mail address in most cases. Some readers with an account have a user name that they customized and is different from their e-mail address.

 I ordered a Print + eEdition Combo but I still haven’t received my newspaper. When can I expect delivery to start?

It usually takes two days for a customer’s credit card to be successfully charged, and we ordinarily start delivery of the newspaper on the following day. In most cases you can expect delivery to start 72 hours after you have placed your order. While you wait for delivery to start, please try out the eEdition, our electronic replica of the printed newspaper. The eEdition is immediately available to Subscribers. There are occasional delays in print delivery starts, however. If you have not received a newspaper within five days of placing your order, please e-mail circulation@vvdailypress.com so we can investigate and get your delivery started as soon as possible.

 What time can I expect my newspaper to be delivered?

Home delivery subscribers in designated areas should receive their paper no later than 5:30 a.m. weekdays or 6:30 a.m. weekends and holidays.  Home delivery subscribers in outlying areas should receive their paper no later than 6:30 a.m. weekdays or 7:30 a.m. weekends and holidays.  To report a missed newspaper and to request next day redelivery Monday through Friday call Circulation Customer Service at 760-241-7755 (Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m).   Same day redelivery service is available on Saturday, Sunday and holidays 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon in most areas.
